The pearl of the Baltic Sea – Bornholm – is the home of my inspiration, my vibrating style and my special light. Summer after summer I've been sitting on the rocks, on the grass, by the water, in the sand…

...but most of all in my studio in Bryggerstræde in Gudhjem and painted the Nordic light and all the life stories and relations in the light of the sun, the moon and the stars.

Figures move in and out of my canvases in the light summer night … large, small, young and old – they all tell stories and they are a part of the Nordic feeling, and my Danish culture.
